Manes & Motions Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc.(A Member of the Hospital for Special Care Community)   Map
Manes & Motions Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization and a member of the Hospital for Special Care community. We are a PATH International Premier Accredited Center committed to improving the well-being of children and adults living with physical, cognitive and/or emotional disabilities through the benefits of equine-assisted activities. Manes & Motions is seeking dedicated community members ages fourteen and up to join our team. Volunteers play an integral role in the success of our program and many of our riders would not be able to participate without their help and support. Although there are a variety of opportunities, most of our volunteers' time is spent serving as side walkers or leaders during sessions. Many others work behind the scenes caring for horses or assisting with barn duties, fundraising efforts and various activities associated with the therapeutic riding center. Volunteering is also a great way to meet new friends, spend time with horses and enjoy the pleasures of helping others. Whether you are new to horses or your experience is lifelong, your willingness to give of yourself and your time is what we need. No experience necessary. Training will be provided.
